Susan is an American-born illustrator now based in the United Kingdom. Heavily influenced by her graphic design background, she also enjoys working with typography. She works primarily in digital and vector format and experimenting with distressed effects, collage and screen printing. She aims to achieve a fresh and edgy, yet nostalgic and elegant feel to her work and shares a distinct love of history, folk art, vaudeville, circus, western, pop culture, vintage, art deco and art nouveau illustration.
Susan’s work has been recognized as the Computer Arts graduate showcase winner and was also honored to be part of the permanent collection at the University of Arts, London. Susan has additionally received recognition from American Illustration.
